i know this might sound weird, but they really do scare me.
i have to stay at least 5 feet away from a toaster when someone else or if i'm using it. i freak out whenever a toaster pops. it's not severe or anything, but yeah. my younger sis laughs at me whenever i end up shuddering because of a toaster popping too soon. when i realise that i'm freaking out because of a toaster, i end up laughing along with her :D

OMFG!!! i cant believe it!!.......i'm really SCARED OF TOASTERS TOO!!! i thought i was the only weird one..when i make a sandwich i leave the kitchen until its out already but...but when it does i just jump and my heart beats fast!! lol i dunno but ever since i was small i have been scared of them =]

Toasters should have a slow pop-up mechanism. I press the lever down and just stand there... scared.. and waiting for it to pop out lol. I'd probably just step out of the kitchen for a moment. and hope my toast doesn't get burned.

my best friend's dog is terrified of toasters.... they actually can't eat toast when she is around because of how afraid she is.
They think she was abused by a toaster before they had her, though!

Mine makes my jump when it pops up - so does openeing a can of biscuits.
