NO-that's a ridiculous rumor! Why trade a Cy Young winner,who led you to the playoffs? The Bosox would need to give them Ellsbury,Bucholtz and Lester for CC's worth(more than Santana-younger and more promise in the future).

That makes no sense. It's Johan Santana that everyone is talking about. There is no way that the Indians would make a move that might strengthen the team that just barely beat them out for the pennant.

The latest I have heard is that he is going to the Yankees for highly regarded prospect Philip Hughes, Melky Cabrea, Ian Kennedy and a lower level prospect.
The Red Sox's offer wasn't as good as the Yankees, and the Yankees are going all out on this one.

with Cleveland just making it to the postseason, C.C. being a Cy Young award winner, Carmona pitching very well, it just doesnt make any since why they would, and if they did trade him to Boston- where would he be in the rotation
