Words Rhyming With Eternity

As I turn the page, I see not me, but through the keyhole is a place so free, the views are like my beating heart, so strong they can't be torn apart, the colors shine exceedingly bright unlike my life which is full of fright, In the distance of this wonderful haze I can see that I'm really stuck in a maze, for all the illusions that cloud my mind I can only move forward and can't rewind, so I'll try my best to past these tests and leave the visions all behind.

Personally I suggest you combine elements of your three attempts. I have given an example below (although I didn't use any rhyme scheme ... it is called free verse when you omit any obvious rhyme scheme, meter etc.) These words scare me, my voice frozen (personifications) I dare not ask for help, but want to know My tongue remains mute today I am failing to find the right words The virgin paper stares blankly, (personification) I haven't slept for an eternity (used your hyperbole) And my lids tell me dreams So I stare, at nothing, falling

it doest have to bejust one word.. try something like..

Ill wait for all eternity
because my love for you burns deep.

or..
theres no need for an enternity
stop waiting Its your turn be free

or..

I wanted an enternity
and yet my heart is torn you see
for though my love for you ran deep
you went and made a fool of me.
