for the record i am a none smoker and think if some one wants to smoke that is up to them, so no let the sales carry on

The price of cigarettes and road fuel has always been similar. I remember when I stopped after leaving school a Gallon of petrol was 33 pence and so was a gallon of petrol. As to banning the sale, why? If people wish to kill them selves, assuming a susceptibility to cancer which some people do not have, then let them the tax like that on road fuel is not compulsory to pay just if you use the product.

The Government makes way too much tax off tobacco manufacturers and i agree they should ban the sale of it.

Tobacco products can not be banned ? It won't work. We've seen it in India. But their use should be discouraged through proper campaign as health hazards. Through motivation only, consumption of these products can be reduced.

That would be impossible,,remember that drugs are illegal but freely available to everyone if you know where to go,so banning tobacco would be impossible,,I would just fly to Spain and buy it there for a fraction of the UK cost,,,

No, I'm a smoker, and I think the johnny do gooders of the world should mind their own business.I'm a big girl and can make my own decisions. I respect them if they don't smoke, and they can do the same.

Nope. Nothing should be banned. Especially marijuana, when alcohol is legal.(No I don't smoke that stuff, but I think people should be allowed to)

well if your going to ban tobbaco, why not ban alcohol too. no keep tobbaco selling.
