ANyone else think it's stupid that Build for boyhood is the tonka tag now?? I played with Tonkas when i was a little girl DAILY and im still a woman... Kids arent as dumb as people think and pick up on things like that...

Commercials for kids toys are aimed twards kids....first of all....secondly ...girls see this and think there is soemthing wrong with them because they liek "boy toys"

I'm surprised that's their slogan in this day and age of political correctness. I played with them, too, along with toy cap guns and lots of other "boy" toys. I've always hated dolls (and now they just give me the creeps!) Loved stuffed animals, though.

That slogan is for the parents not the children. My daughter is now 16 and I bought her Tonkas and now buy my son (3 yr old) Tonka trucks.

I don't care what their slogan is as long as my kids like the product.

As for politically correct, if all companies only use the most politically correct advertising than all of our children might as well be genderless.

my daughter is pretty "girlish".She loves all that make-up type stuff.But she still declares she is a tomboy.Kids don't normally care about slogans like that.If they like the toy they will play with it.Now I gotta go tuck my little tomboy in.she just said it was bedtime.8:45 pm
