Get a screw driver and put it in the locked lathc on the inside of the door frame and pull it putting tension on the latch.
then pull the door knob or what ever you want to call it it should open the latch.

1) use a large screw driver - on door jam you will see a metal latch that looks like a finger - moving that up or down (parallel to the door edge will release the catch) If part two doesn't help at least this way door will latch closed to drive to a repair shop. This movement plus spraying Lithium grease maybe all that is necessary

2) remove inside door panel (panel is usually snapped on with nylon bushings, these can be snapped on or off a few times. To take off use the screw driver and pry off around the panel's edge, need be you can buy more bushings - you may need a special tool to take off door handle (I said may) if you see inside the door panel thru metal cut outs (keep window rolled up) or slightly down so that mechanism is not in the way - you should see door lock connecting to a rod to the door latch - see if detached if not spray with lithium grease - door latch should work - like I said you may need a tool to remove the door handle, many auto stores sell that tool, it is inexpensive.

There is a lever that is on the door. looks like a horse shoe. When you take a screwdriver and place it on that horseshoe and pull towards the car while you hold the handle like you are opening it that should open that horseshoe like metal piece. You should be good to go. Oh BTW squirt some WD 40 in it. ( after the fix)
