There is a chance that i might be pregnant. It's too early to take a test and that isn't my question anyway. My question is that now i am soooo paranoid about everything i am doing. I mean will be shampoo i use hurt the baby or the lotion that i use. Believe me when i find out, if i am i will definately read everything on pregnancy to learn whatever i can but until then is there anything i really shouldn't be doing?? I don't smoke, I am gonna stop drinking alcohol now just in case, i eat healthy, and get some exercise. Thank you

CONGRATULATIONS ON POSSIBLY BEING PREGNANT!!!!!

Stop stressing. I know, easier said than done, but seriously, it's the worst thing for you and baby if you are in fact pregnant.

One thing you need to be careful of when using beauty products is that they don't contain salicylic acid. Benzoil peroxide is safe to use as it won't pass through the placenta. This was something that I literally JUST found out when I was like 6 months pregnant. I am now in my ninth lunar month, almost 34 weeks. : ) There are tons of things you can find on the net, I have attached the links to the sites that I like best because they are VERY thorough!!!

My doctor always said, it most likely won't harm the baby, but if anything happend to the baby, you would blame yourself - better safe then sorry. So that was what I went by. Really, you can continue on as you are - just no smoking, drinking, drugs, maybe no intense excercise if you're that worried, and don't take any medication without doctor approval - only tylenol allowed when you're pregnant! You could also start taking folic acid (a vitamin supplement) and a prenatel vitamin if you're trying to get pregnant! Don't drink any herbal teas (there are a few that you should drink when pregnant - I can't remember which ones so I just avoided all of them except black tea like earl grey, which is okay). Minimize your coffee and pop intake... I stopped putting on any selftanning lotions because of course it hasn't been tested on pregnancies and I'd rather have ease of mind then be slightly more tanned... Use gloves when cleaning, try not to be exposed to cleaning fumes, paint fumes etc. for too long...

Stressing too much is going to make you nuts.. too early to do any damage to the baby if that... I had 2 cocktails before I found out that I was pregnant and my daughter turned out fine.. When you do find out if its true that you are pregnant.. just read up on stuff... theres so many great sites out there.. and they tell you soup to nuts about everything there is to know about being pregnant and how to take care of you and the baby to be. Good luck...

The number one thing that you ARE doing wrong is stressing way too much. Stress is NOT good at ALL for a baby or mom.

Other than that, it sounds like you are doing everything else right. You are ok to use whatever shampoo or lotion or whatever you please unless it says specifically NOT to during pregnancy(on the bottle).

You can stop stressing. Just relaxing. Stress might hurt the unborn baby if you are actually pregnant. Take a deep breath and relax and take a test when it is time to take one.

just relax....most women dont find out they are pregnant till they are 4-5 wks pregnant...so just calm down and do everything you normally do until you find out you are pregnant. stressing is the worst thing you can do right now.

Sounds like you are doing fine. Don't sweat it.
Get started on pre-natal supplements, which you find at your pharmacy.
