I think the Dodgers are the 2008 World Series Champions with Joe Torre. Nd as a Yankee fan i would like 2 see that jus 2 show hank nd hal nd Randy i have no idea what i am doing Levine that they were dead wrong in not only kicking him out but insulting him with such a horrible deal nd thinking we the fans nd torre were stupid enough 2 believe that deal wasnt a fake deal 2 get rid of him

Every team in MLB has a chance, some of the chances simply aren't as good as others. The Dodgers could come through and surprise us all, we'll have to wait until baseball season is back. Then we can all make better, more informed predictions.

"Torre has to work w/ talent" 1st off he was successful as a manager way before the Yankees and he didn't have as much talent then. 2nd of all the Yankees were all young farm prospects when Torre took over, they added a bunch of veteran pitching (Cone, Gooden, Wells, Rogers, Clemens) to win those world series. Torre took a young team and turned them into a dynasty. (Of course to put it all on Torre is unfair as he had one hell of a coaching staff)
Now he's moving to an easier league... one he is familiar w/, and he's got (guess what?) YOUNG talent to work with again. They are probably 2 years away from world series contention (maybe 2009), because they need Jeff Kent's contract to come off the books, but by that time the Dodgers will be a serious threat for years to come.

It really depends what they do with their players.
Do they go after a "big" bat in the lineup? Do they pickup a new Catcher? Will they add one more key starter to the Lineup?
Joe Torre is amazing, but he has to work with Talent.
Time will tell, Let's go Dodgers!

Yes I do, I think they have a strong chance of making it to the playoffs. Can they win the WS I'm not sure I think they still need some upgrades. But they have some good players. I see you like Russel Marting huh? LOL
