i had formatted hard drive, i have those images on CD-R and on hard drive on my second computer. what is best way to transfer that image and install freebsd on stand alone computer. thanks in advance.

yes .ISO as a file, i need to burn it but problem, when its burn it goes over 1GB and doesn't fit onto Cd-R obviuolsy because Cd has only 700MB

.ISO files are cdr images, if you have the OS as a CD already stick in the drive and boot up the installer.

However, if you have the ISO as a file on a CD-R, you need to burn the have the ISO burn it's information on the CD instead of just having as a plain file. WIth out more information it's hard to say what your exact problem is.

you have to burn it to dvd or find a CD ver of freeBSD
