Ross Perot SCARED me because of his talk about the need for new constitutional conventions. Ron Paul talks about the need to begin to abide by the one we already have....such as eliminating deparments not provided for in the Constitution (Homeland Security for one), using a CONGRESSIONAL declaration before entering into wars, and avoiding entangling foreign alliances.

only in the way that the problems he is bringing to the front , are the real problems America is facing. Ross Perot was right in how NAFTA would hurt America and history has proved him right. history will prove Ron Paul right also.

i wasn't a big Ross Perot fan, he was right on the topics he talked about but he would of been a bad president he had a few problems ,

i am a big Ron Paul fan , he is the right man for this point in our country.

Not really....they're both old white guys....that's about it. Ross Perot was a bit of a loon.....Ron Paul comes off as one cuz everyone around him would appear to have gone batshit crazy. So one IS crazy....the other APPEARS to be crazy, but only because he's saying what no one in Washington wants to hear---the truth.

Ron Paul is telling the truth. That and he hasn't dropped out. he didn't in '88 either when he ran on the libertarian ticket. The guy has his facts straight and it scares the crap out of his opponents. Let's just wait and see what happens. I think the dems have really done themselves in over AMNESTY and the Iraq war. They only wanted control people. Hopefully thats obvious now through all the spin they're trying to spew to all of us.

No, he reminds me more of a milk truck driver back when I was a kid in the late fifties. Put Ron in a zip up white coveralls with a button down white ivy league cap & presto, he's delivering milk to your door step in a Carnation step van! One guy that answered one of my posts mentioned it, & ya know, he was right. I'm backing Ron for president but it is fun to imagine what "others" people could look like!
Does Giuliani remind you of colonel Klink from Hogan's hero's? I'm not kidding ya! Google up Hogan's hero's. When colonel klink pops up, imagine Giuliani in Klinks Luftwaffe uniform. You won't even have to imagine it, there pretty doggoned close I'm telling ya!
With a little thought I'm sure we could match McCain also! I thought senator Clinton looked the perfect match for a "Betty Crocker Domme", I mean dress her in black leather with a whip on the hip put her in a kitchen on a morning cook show & presto!!! John Edwards might be close to the old "Sunny Jim" character on the jars of jams/jelly's we had on the shelves during the sixties. I mean Edwards has that all American look of "Clean Jim MacGee" like he still looks a virgin! Let me know if ya come up with other matches will ya?!!

No, Ron Paul reminds me of the clumsy, and evil Dr. Smith from Lost in Space.

Now that you mention it, he does sort of remind me of Perot without the charts. But Perot, I believe, was smarter.
