There was some really good music but also some bad ones. I just hated Steve Miller's Abracadabra.

What is your choice?

Starship - We Built This City
Poison - Nothin' But a Good Time
Culture Club - Karma Chameleon
Dexy's Midnight Runners - Come on Eileen
Anything by Whitney Houston
Debbie Gibson - Electric Youth
Mister Mister - Broken Wings - so bad it's almost comical, which counts for something positive.
Double - Captain of Her Heart - see above.
Richard Marx - Right Here Waiting - a wuss anthem for the castrated.
Night Ranger - (You Can Still) Rock In America - thanks boys, good to know.
Phil Collins - Sussudio - causes me dry heaves.
Paul McCartney w/ Jacko - Say Say Say
Sheena Easton - Sugar Walls - you gotta be freaking kidding me? Drywall sounds like a better option after associating with Prince.
Billy Ocean - Get Outta My Dreams, Get into My Car - so many to choose from for this guy alone, I could have easily gone with Suddenly.
Olivia Newton John - Physical - at least Rev Co fixed it up years later.
Berlin - Take My Breath Away - this was a shocking departure from their earlier material.
Pointer Sisters - Jump (for My Love)

MANY, but among them:

Europe- "Final Countdown" (WHY THIS band/song of all lame one-hit acts seems to be getting all this acclaim w/ younger people today is WAY beyond me.

I'll think of more....

Sister Christian - Night Ranger
Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go - Wham!

I would agree with Bowzer that anything Chicago-related isn't good.

I'm a Steve Miller fan, but "Abracadabra" was pretty bad.

Whitney Houston has an awesome voice, but her stuff is tough...I can't listen to "How Will I Know".

"Girl You Know It's True" by Milli Vanilli
"Lady In Red" by Chris de Burgh
"Mr. Roboto" by Styx (what were they thinking???)
"Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now" by Starship
"We Built This City" by Starship
"The Girl Is Mine" by Jackson / McCartney
"The Final Countdown" by Europe (might be the worst of the bunch, actually...)
"You're The Inspiration" by Chicago
"Somebody's Watching Me" by Rockwell
"St. Elmo's Fire (Man In Motion)" by John Parr (maybe it's just me...but...ughhhh!)
"Glory Of Love" by Peter Cetera (ditto)
"Captain of Her Heart" by Double

I'm pretty sure "Rock Me Amadeus" by Falco was the worst song that ever came out from the 80s. If you haven't heard of the song please watch the video on youtube.

There are many but I have a profound hatred of anything by Alphaville ("Forever Young" and "Big In Japan" primarily).
