PS3 Questions?

Question

1. Is it worth all that money?

2. Does it still have all the bugs?(overheating, freezing, ect.)

3. Can it play PS2 games?

4. What is your opinion on it?

1. Alot of good games coming out -next year-. I imagine alot of people will think it's worth buying then, but right now there's still a limited number of PS3 games to choose from.

2. I rarely read about anyone experiencing bugs with their PS3. My PS3 started to overheat once and the fan sped up and got so loud it was like a heavy duty vacuum, but it didn't freeze lol

3. It can play any PS2 games. I've heard the new cheaper models might have trouble, but I don't know anything specific about that.

4. It's pretty awesome. I'm glad I have it now so I can play the new games right away as they're released.

1. Yes, the PS3 is worth the money, and the 40GB PS3 costs the same as the Xbox 360 Halo edition, and the 80GB PS3 just costs $50 bucks more than the Xbox 360 Elite, so really the PS3 is just about the same price and is really cheaper than the Xbox 360 when you look at all of the features you get built in.

2. The PS3 doesn't have any bugs and the PS3 does not overheat. The PS3 has a failure rate of 0.02%, while the 360 has a failure rate of over 30%. My PS3 has never overheated or has frozen since I got mine about a year ago.

3. The 40GB PS3 is the only model that doesn't play PS2 games. All of the other PS3's play both PS1 and PS2 games.

4. My opinion on the PS3 is that it is the console with the most potential, it is the console that will have the longer life span, it's more reliable, it has better technology, it has better exclusives coming, and the PS3 is just getting warmed up.

Sony hasn't even dropped it's biggest games yet and people are already talking about it's failure. Those people are very mistaken. When 2008 comes and the big PS3 exclusives come out, I guarantee that the PS3 will be on it's way back to the top of the gaming world again.

1. Yes, because if you think about it Xbox 360 and Xbox Live for 3 years will cost as much as a Ps3 and even more in the future.

2. Ps3, rarely has overheating and freezing problems, while Xbox 360 has a 30% failure rate (much more than Vista failure rate and Vista is a disaster)

3. The 40gig Ps3 which is the cheapest one is not backwards compatible with ps2.

4. My opinion is Xbox 360 is now, but Ps3 is the future. In 5 months, these Halo funs will quiet down. The other consoles don't compete, Xbox 360 have mostly First Person Shooter, while Ps3 have a mix array of games. Sony listens to their customers. When the Sixaxis came out and it didn't have rumble, everyone complained and now in Spring 2008, Dualshock 3 is coming out with Sixaxis. Microsoft makes too many bugged products to compete. Everything Xbox fans say about their console I can counter with a good argument.

Xbox has more games/people online: DUH!!! The console has been out for two years now. It had a year head start.

Xbox has Halo, Gears of War, etc: Hello, aren't these all First Person Shooter games... SO with 2 years on the market your best games are only First Person Shooter games?

Xbox 360 cannot compete. Period.

1. Yes, great games are coming out for the PS3 and online play make it worth while.

1.Yes. It has a lot of good games next year. Plus its Blu-Ray Player is more effective than the Hd player.

no its not worth ur money its the same thing as a ps2.
and it doesn't have any glitches or bugs.
yes it can play ps2 games.
good but very expensive games.
