Isn't it funny that the Republicans are going to win in 08 even with all this hatred towards Bush? Seems like Bush didn't do such a bad job after all.

I would shake his hand and say, "Hello Mr. President. It is an honor to meet you." No matter what I think personally about the man, and no matter how much I disagree with many of his decisions, I do respect the office he holds and would not say anything disrespectful to him in a public situation. One just shouldn't do that.

I wouldn't say anything. I would like to speak my mind, but that would go nowhere and it could easily put a black mark on me. I'm just quietly waiting for 2008. Even if the next president is Republican, things will just have to improve from the absence of Bush.

I would say I hope the people here that disrespect our leadership, are not teaching their children the same attitude of disrespect. We may disagree with policies or the way things are done, but to show such disgusting disrespect and then expect our children to respect those in leadership roles is ridiculous. I wonder if their children show disrespect to their teachers or parents, if it's because they are being taught the lesson from their parents blatant and inappropriate rantings.
