I used to always have a real tree, until they told us it was "un-environmental" to do so. Then I bought a fake tree thinking I was doing good for the environment because I would save trees, etc. NOW, I learn that the fake tree has all kinds of plastics and chemicals which when I finally throw it out will damage the earth and that a real tree from a christmas tree farm is best to buy because it's renewable and can be mulched. Sheesh. I feel whatever I do for the earth, I can't win. Anyway, get a real tree, get a tree-stand and keep it well watered. They will suck up a whole bowl of water in one day at first. Most cities have a tree pick-up service after the holidays when they take your tree and either mulch it or use it in lakes for fish habitat.

We always buy a real Christmas tree. We put it in a tree stand and water it at least once a day. They drink lots of water and if you don't water enough it will dry out very quickly.

After the tree is up, we string the lights. We usually use the multi-color lights since that's what the kids like. Then we hang up the decorations. Finally, we hang candy canes from the tree. We've hung tinsel in the past, but I don't really like it and you'll find it for weeks after you take down your tree.

You have to put it in water if it's a cut tree, there are stands made for that purpose.

A live tree that is potted or balled and burlapped needs a big pot, and also must be watered to keep the root ball from drying out.

To decorate it, you can do anything you'd like, just like if you had a fake tree. Ornaments, lights, more ornaments...

You put it in a tree stand if it is a cut tree. It will come in a pot if it is planted tree. Water it everyday and decorate it with whatever you loke.

As I grew older my acquaintances pronounced it became into bizarre and it made me annoyed because of the fact it wasn't my fault and that they did not could desire to make a fuss approximately it. This 365 days we've become a pretend one because of the fact they're greater handy and nicer - YAY! If i became into you i could purchase a pretend one. I even have 2 cats too and that they have great exciting hiding below the tree! that's annoying yet even worse because of the fact each and every of the pine issues drop off everywhere, it spikes you once you attempt to get them out, they're much less balanced and greater durable to place back up in the event that they fall over, and characteristic a tendency to have the trunks beginning decrease that's a nightmare with pets! The little pine issues come off besides that could desire to be risky with a youthful baby around! the only good element approximately actual ones is the picking each and every 365 days yet your son would be too youthful to keep in mind so perhaps in case you needed to do it one 365 days you are going to be able to desire to do it whilst he's older and could savour it! desire i've got helped! xx
