The Geminids are predicted to peak on December 14 at 17 hours Universal Time. That's 2 PM Eastern Time or 11 AM Pacific Time (both on December 14).

The best night to view the meteor shower from North America is December 13-14, but the next night is also good. On each night, the moon is up and interferes somewhat until a few hours after sunset. You'll see a lot more meteors if you can find a place far from urban light pollution.
