So... I'm on the shot....and only have my period randomly about 4 times a year... It's VERY effective for birthcontrol...and with my period being so random and so few times...I just keep a month in mind of when I had a period. I stopped keeping the actual date I started and stopped a while ago. Do you think that me just keeping a month in mind (and if it was normal flow yada yada) is a good idea. I'm not really sure about it. I've been on the shot for 4 years now...and get in RIGHT on time every single time...thoughts? What would you REALLY do if you were me.

Should I keep an exact date of when I started and stopped my period or is just keeping a month of when I had my period okay? So many women keep the exact dates of their periods every month.....but for my situation do you think it's alright to just keep in mind the month of when I had a period..not the exact dates of when I started and stopped. Like I had a period in August... or should I keep the exact date like I started my period on August 12 and stopped on 19th. Get it. Do the dates really matter in my case is what I'm asking. Yeah..I'm not the best at explaining things sorry.

you will never truly get it spot on. I get my symptons from a period every month like clockworks, just not the bleeding. same time as always. However, the normal type periods are like you that happen every 4 months or so, usually when I am due for another shot. there isn't really any right way and they may not always happen at the same time.

what exactly are you trying to figure out with tracking your periods? just when you are going to get them? when to carry supplies? I usually keep a stash at work and in my car just in case. beyond that I could really care less.
