I have to say - and I say this as a socialist - that Mike Huckabee seems like a nice guy you could talk to and have a civil discussion with.

But while I disagree with Ron Paul on a lot of issues, I have to admire his courage, his diagnosis of what's wrong with America's foreign policy, and his desire to put the Constitution first.

But after those two people, the Republican field is basically dumb, dumber, scary dumb, and "DAYAM THAT'S DUMB"!

I basically like Ron Paul, and I'm neither Conservative nor American. Huckabee on the other hand, believes in Creationism over Evolution, and holds some other dubious views unfitting of a President. Of course, so does your current one, but one hopes THAT won't happen again.

I will say Giuliani is clearly the most sinister, and as for the Dems, I can't say I trust Hillary.

All I can say is this: I hope it all works out in the end for America--and the world, but we do have to be realistic too.

Yes, I like Ron Paul a great deal and I also like Dennis Kucinich. I'm so sick of the slick lying politicians that are whores for the rich and the industrial military complex! We Americans must mobilize! WE MUST let the powers that be that we are NOT satisfied with the garbage candidates they've amassed. And we MUST get rid of electronic polling, it is has stolen our democracy!

I just saw this movie last night: "American: Freedom to Fascism" by Aaron Russo. It will scare your breakfast out of you! Since you are clearly a thoughtful citizen, I urge you to see this documentary!

Ron Paul actually is the only Republican running. You're a also little off base - its actually Ron Paul vs. a bunch of BLACK HEARTED corporate-funded liars?

Never forget the malice.

And Huckabee has some "falsehood eruption" issues - google his "truth squad" for more details.

I agree with Shylock about the black-hearted corporate-funded liars, and about the malice. I can't figure out how I feel about Ron Paul, but I definitely also disagree with him on a number of issues. *sm*

I have to agree with you on both accounts. I disagree with RP on alot of things but he is the most honest politician the GOP has ever put out there as a candidate. I find it Ironic that cons say they want to bring back integrity to the White House but they keep electing a bunch of crooks and hypocrites.

"and I say this as a socialist"

In other words, a braindead, hypocritical scumbag with an innate desire to oppress and murder everyone else.
