sfdiego, you forgot to mention the other loss came against that really tough conference opponent 3-8 Stanford and this years Notre Dame was a real challenge for USC too. Your trojans are no better than the rest of the college football leagues.
This season also goes to prove the so-called "experts" don't have any better idea than I do as to which team should be rated the highest. They are just as biased as I am towards my team and my league. The experts are worse than the band-wagon fans. Until Dixon got hurt Oregon was a top notch team and every sportscaster never shut up about them. Now after they have fallen 3 times in a row none of them even seem to remember they were in the chase.
Hell yeah! Bring on the playoff system for the National Champion.

Hell yeah, just look at the number of creampuffs the so called top ranked teams played. LSU 3, Kansas 4, Missouri 2, Oklahoma 3 and Ohio St 3, and W. Virginia 2 while a 2 loss team like USC had 1 cakewalk in Idaho and one of their 2 losses came against #2 Oregon.

Screw tradition and the coaches who argue it. BCS has messed up tradition anyway. Go with the playoffs once and for all, that way people screaming about undefeated Hawaii (gimme a break) should play in the NC game would stop screaming! And most would realize that some 2 loss teams really are the best in the country, that they just play in a hell of a tough conference.

ummmm their are too many teams. The best teams will never play each other except for maybe luck in the finals because there are so many. The fact of the matter is that it's just fun to watch and that this is the system that they came up with and yes it's arbitrary but so the **** is life.... OH AND HELL YEAH.
