ok i have 2 old computers (yet still both running XP) is there anyway to connect them together and have twice the speeds or space (more drives) if so.. how?

ok so what i have learned is parrel computer is not gonna happen... o well.. crushed dreams never tasted so good..

You need a crossover cable ( either usb or ethernet its a special cable you cant just use a plain one) Or a Ethernet switch. Then you run network connection wizard on both machines and you can share the folders and space between them

You can get cables to connect them direct, or buy the equipment to set up a wireless network. Neither way will make them run faster; that is controlled by the CPUs you have installed in each computer, but it will give you more access to drive space.

Twice the speeds (Parallel Computing) is not a feature that is available in Windows XP. You can, however, setup a network which will allow you to share resources of each computer (hard disks, printers, etc)

yeah
just get a usb cable with the same ends
(and yes you CAN buy the same end usb cables)
it shud show up as and extra drive or w.e
