How to contruct majic square with odd number of elements in each of its row/column?

A majic square is one in which the sum of numbers in each of its row or column or diagonal are equal.An odd majic square has 3x 3, or 5x5, 7x7 size .It should have 3,5,or7numbers in each of their rows and columns.The puzzle is how do you go about to construct such squares?

There's a simple set of rules you can use to construct any size odd magic square. I once constructed a 101x101 magic square. I have better things to do with my time now.

1.) Start with the 1 in the middle of the top row.

2.) Proceed up and to the right filling numerically as you go.

3.) When you run off the top of the square, drop down to the bottom square of the next column to the right.

4.) When you run off the right edge of the square, put the next number in the first square of the next higher row.

5.) When you run into a number to the upper right of the number you just put in, put the next number below the number you just put in.

6.) The exception to rules 3.) and 4.) is when you run off the upper right corner of the square. When this happens, write the next number below the number you just put in.

Examine the 3x3 carefully and see that it follows the rules above. Then try a 5x5 or a 7x7.
