I would think a large percentage would be Christian of some sort, I do have to think a decent chunk of the European players who are Christian practice Orthodoxy. But I'd also lay odds that a lot of the Slavic players are Jewish.

There are probably a lot of Christian players but the names that stick out for their religiosity are Curtis Brown, Cam Ward and Peter Budaj.

Shane Doan is noted for being very devout. That caused a bit of a kerfuffle when someone suggested he not be chosen captain of Team Canada due to language he was accused of using during an NHL match. It turned out he couldn't have said that because he just doesn't talk like that.

Peter Budaj (Colorado Avalanche) is a devout Christian. He has a picture of Ned Flanders on the back of his mask. How cool is that? I've seen him do the sign of the cross after games too.

Michael Gartner - I think he might be retired.

Dean Prentice - he is retired, he's in the hall a fame. He once scored a penalty shot with a broken back.

I met both of them.

Sorry that's all I know off the top of my head.
