Yes it is possible. Depending on what level you are at, then I would say try out for some summer dance workshops. Try Boston Ballet, SAB, ABT...Look in Pointe magazine for the audition dates. You can find them online too.
They are alot of fun and you learn alot. I went and i iimproved so much over the summer.

Sure, why not? It doesn't matter, really, if you start dancing modern dance at 12 or 20 - look at how well Jennie Garth and Marie Osmond did on "Dancing With the STars" at the ripe old ages of 30-something and 50-something!
Professional dancing means getting paid money to dance - the real trick is finding the gigs that pay dancers.
A good place to start is New York, Los Angeles, and Nashville (Yes, Nashville!) where there are lots of auditions for gigs for music videos, awards programs, live tv stage shows, and tv commercials besides musical stage shows.
Broadway musicals hire dancers, so does Disneyland and Disney World all year round.
If you start even now at age 12 you have plenty of years to get into shape for working Disneyland or Disney World parades at age 16. (Minimum age to work with a work permit without needing a parent on the set at all times.)
Good luck.

Of course!!! : ) I think any age is a good time to start! But the younger you are the bigger advantage you have.
One of the professionals on Dancing With The Stars did not start dancing until he was 21 or 22!!!!!! Look at him now!
If you have the desire, you can live the dream!!!!!
Good luck and keep dancing!

ever heard of wade robson? im pretty sure he didn't start until he was about 10ish maybe later. now he's not only a pro dancer he's probably the most famous coreographer out there now. everything depends on the way you put your mind to dancing. and also if you start dance and begin to love it like a dancer, it won't matter to you anymore if you become famous.

Possibly, it's a so-so question, if you practice hard you can probably do it, but you may not be on television if that is what you are asking.
