I don't think my gender has prevented me from my employment options. I went the regular route of education, building up my resume and moving up in my company. As a matter of fact, I work as the youngest and one of the few women in my company, since the field is male dominated. I was qualified, they hired me and let me move up based on my competence level. I have not noticed my gender being a hindrance.

No one can say how, because they do have control. Women have every opportunity men have in employment these days. Thanks to the Feminist Movement there are laws against discrimination of sex, among many other things.

I don't get it. I can work if I want to but if I had a man to take care of me that is cool but I can take care of myself. I am gainfully employed. I have all the control over my life. No one can tell me nothing!
