If you are a gamer, Linux is not a very good choice, it still has a ways to go before it reaches that goal, but getting closer all the time. If you like Every type of graphical programs you can down load and use it falls short also. So whats the point? I never reload, I never get Blue Screens, I don't have spyware, virus and trojans to deal with all the time, it has plenty of programs that suit what I do with computers and updates are easy and don't take hours to accomplish. All my drivers are installed and the system is setup according to what my computer has, I don't have to make those decisions or look for drivers of any kind. I prefer a Linux that has the Windows Looking Desktop Environment. Kubuntu might be a choice, however I use PCLinuxOS 2009-1 with the KDE Desktop. I dual boot all the computers in my house with Windows and Linux as my operating system. I have the best of both systems and would have it no other way. By the way only four files installed in Windows XP can make it stable, safe and, secure.

don't wast your money on vista... the home version basic is a wast of time... you will need a high end computer to run other versions of vista...

you cant download it either... so you will have to buy it...do your research before buying vista....

download Ubuntu 7.10 for free it put vista to shame....
