OK about the bird superstition?

The bird flew in through the open front door. NO kids in my life or family...so is it a superstition or not about death happening~~I read and was told///

it actually depends on what kind of bird it was...a black bird means that a loved one doesnt (have to be family) will die..at least that the one i was told when i was a kid but just look up bird superstitions and youll get a ton of hits...lol

it's just a superstition.

one bird means a death in the family or bad luck. two means a happy marriage and in some sayings two or more means good luck.

but if the birds were crows:
1 for sorrow, 2 for joy, 3 for a girl, 4 for a boy, 5 for silver, 6 for gold, 7 for a secret never to be told

i dont understand approximately any unusual superstition, all i understand is we live in a farmhouse we merely moved into and a fashion or the different a damn chook has have been given into the single creepy room of my homestead, the furnace room. im scared to open the door because of the fact i dont opt for it to fly out so i'm merely waiting on my hubby to get homestead he and my landlord can manage it. merely found out i'm pregnant lower back so idk why that's bothering me plenty yet my nerves are merely shot. it rather is making me opt for to puke i understand i'm being a wimp approximately this yet merely questioning on the subject of the reality that there is a gross probably ailment infested chook in the room proper next to my bathing room is making me ill. each time I could pee i hear chirp chirp chirp .. glided by the door and tortured myself by putting my ear as much as the door and that i heard it damn around it there. UHHH 6 pm couldnt come quickly adequate!! waiting for MY HUSBAND to return shop THE DAY

A bird in the house is usually a very bad sign--someone in your family may die soon, or someone within your circle of friends. I'm not sure if there's a way to tell.

I think you're talking about an owl, maybe. supposedly a tragedy is supposed to occur if one flies through a door...

I've also read that you're supposed to nail it by it's feet above the door...I wouldn't try it though...too pretty of a bird...

I once had a bird fly into my wood stove by way of the chimney....twas awful. I could see it in the fire thru the glass stove door. It perished in the flames...
