It is a testament to how much influence neo-cons have over the GOP. True Conservatives hopefully see right through the Romney T-1000.

edit: That is simple, True Conservatives adhere to true conservative values:
- small government
- low deficits
- marital vows
- not racists

it's the funniest quandry going in the republican party these days.
will mitt romney a mormon and very liberal governor of the bluest state of all be the republican nominee?
romney is a liberal in conservative's clothing and represents the bitter pill that the depth of the bush failures have brought onto the republican party these days.
but the best game of all will be 'republicans eating their own' which will get more intense as rudy's indiscretions grow and he becomes more shrill.
pass the popcorn - as we watch the republicans in their last throes...

Because he plays politics. Romney's previous set of beliefs were incompatible with being a plausible Republican candidate, so they had to be jettisoned.

You must be talking about Mitt. He has two close contenders, Huckabee and Rudy..It depends on which news broadcast you watch/listen to as to which one of the three is out in front.

Romney spends his own money to prop up his campaign. Romney mad that money screwing other people and building nothing. He might buy the Presidential nomination, because he'll get slaughtered in the election.
