It is a testament to how much influence neo-cons have over the GOP. True Conservatives hopefully see right through the Romney T-1000.

will mitt romney a mormon and very liberal governor of the bluest state of all be the republican nominee?
romney is a liberal in conservative's clothing and represents the bitter pill that the depth of the bush failures have brought onto the republican party these days.
but the best game of all will be 'republicans eating their own' which will get more intense as rudy's indiscretions grow and he becomes more shrill.

Because he plays politics. Romney's previous set of beliefs were incompatible with being a plausible Republican candidate, so they had to be jettisoned.
