I'm sick of this myth. Psychic powers do not exist. Powder was just a movie, humans use 100% of their brains.
Well..... at least normal ones do.

True, humans don't use 100% of their brains at any one time, but 100% of the brain is capable of function. It operates as a continuous chain reaction.
Think of it as traffic in a small, well-designed city. Normally, the traffic lights keep everything moving in a nice orderly fashion. Cars move and stop when they are supposed to, everyone gets to their destination. Imagine if all of the cars were moving at the same time. There would be accidents, and no one would get anywhere.
If the human brain ever reached 100% activity, it would probably be in the case of a very severe seizure. So, though only part of the brain is active at one time, all of it is capable of activity (and over a short period of time, every part will see some activity), it just doesn't happen all at once.
So, since we DO use 100% of our brains, and there is no evidence of any real psychic powers, it's probably safe to say no.

no. We already use 100% of our brains. The idea that we only use 10% (or insert your favorite percentage) is a myth. This may or may not be the percentage used for conscious calculation, but there are a lot of other functions the brain handles, many of which we are not aware of. An organ as complex and expensive as the brain would not have evolved only to lie mostly dormant.
If psychic powers ever are possible, it will only be through some new technological invention or genetic mutation.

Its a common myth that humans only use 10% or less of their brains, because during a PET or MRI scan only some parts of the brain are active at any one time. But this is how the brain is designed to work. The only people who have close to their entire brain "working" at once are people having seizures.
Now people who are "geniuses" have more communication taking place between their brain hemispheres (leftbrain = logical/math, rightbrain = creative/arts). It would be great to think like a genius. That might be possible.
No documented evidence about reading minds, etc though

I have two possible theories on that. One is that we already do use most of our brains, but we only use them at odd times, like when we're doing something in particular, and it's just that no one has recorded it happening. The second is that we would be able to read minds, amongst other things. It could also be that those parts of the brain don't yet have a purpose, and they're there just in case humans need to evolve. Sort of like the framework for an unfinished part of your house ... room for expansion if it's needed, but with no defined purpose at present.

If I remember my symbolic logic properly, in an if-then statement, if the "if" portion is false, then anything you say in the "then" portion will be true. As humans cannot use all of their brains, your answer would be true. Humans would also be able to fly by flapping their arms and George W. Bush was our first president.

I think mind reading would be a kids parlor trick compared to the things one could do. Unfortunately i feel we would be able to see on spectrums we currently can not and would find ourselves blinded by all the trash frequencies we are bombarded with radio, TV, cell...
