What exactly are your thoughts about college students getting drunk and binge drinking?

Back in my day, we never did even half the stuff young people do these days.

My grandson got drunk at a party, under age drinking, then was stupid enough to drive his car, and got caught. The monetary cost, so far, $6,000, and he still has to go to trial. How does he expect to eat at college, must less pay tuition,etc? DUMB.
