How Much Would you Charge for Sewing a King Duvet Cover.?

I would provide you with 2 cotton King sheets, and thread, and of course pay you for the work. How much would you charge?

Thanks. And how long would it take to sew and is it difficult?

It's the easiest thing in the world to make. You could probably find a sew-er or seamstress in your local yellow pages to do it for less than $25.00 if you buy the materials.

I think you'll end up paying more than $25, but it depends on how you and your seamstress decide the opening should close. Your choice of zipper, buttons or velcro will affect the time required and your price. Making a duvet out of sheets would be a relatively fast, easy project.

If you find someone through Yahoo Answers to do this, you'll have to pay postage both ways. You can find someone local to do this. Go to a fabric store and check the bulletin board for local seamstresses.
