whenever I go ice skating I feel energized, and skating seems to come easy to me. I still need to work but I seem to catch on really easily. Could I be a natural, or is there a reason that some sports make people feel this way

its basically just a matter of personal opinion...if you are having fun, and doing well it would be very hard not to feel good at a certain sport...for example: i run track and my favorite race is the 400...its a killer though, you have to sprint the entire way and as soon as you stop your legs get numb, but its such a good feeling for me.....other people, on the other hand would hate running a race such as this...nothing wrong with that they have other stuff they like....its great that you have found something that you love and makes you feel good..good luck =]

Some sports make you feel so good, free and energized, because the true meaning of that sport is that you love it.
I LOVEEEEE gymnastics, and when I do it, I feel soo good.
And when I ice skate, like you, I feel energized also, and I feel free. Also, the reason could be that you are a natural. You just feel so good, because it comes easy and you feel like you aren't intending to really do anything, but you are doing something.

Endorphins! Fit people are usually in high spirits after a lengthy exercise, sometimes to the point of elation or joy. This feeling is associated with the presence of endorphins, which are released by the pituitary gland in the brain.
