My husband thinks that the very thing he finds exasperating, is the very thing that has saved his skin more than once. My stubbornness is the reason our marriage has lasted all these years because I am too stubborn to fail and I believe our relationship is worth fighting for. Sometimes I dig in when I think he's about to make a bad decision and when I have won those disputes, I have been right. I'm not stubborn for the sake of it, I'm stubborn when I'm trying to save him or us and after 29 years, he's learned to trust me when I get that way.

I am a stubborn person when I feel the need to be or feel I'm in the right. Being stubborn just to get your way is different....I'd call that spoiled and immature. My husband is stubborn too because we're both opinionated. I'd much rather have someone with some "backbone" rather than a "lay-down". Love her for the way she is!!

it all depends on what you mean by stubborn? is it all the time, or is it when you want some? I would say that she is spoiled, or that you let her have her way a few too many times. she knows that you will give in, so why not be stubborn, it gets her what she wants.

You haven't met a stubborn wife until you've met mine. I have to live my the phrase--I wear the pants in the family and have my wife's permission to do so. She's 'fire' and I am 'water' so I guess all things considered we make a good team but it is a challenge.

i think if you love your wife be patient with her some people are just stubborn and if you argue with them they get worse but if you let them be stubborn and agree with them they will eventually know that they are wrong and come kiss your *** and then you will feel good lol
