Some of both. The latter, as ugly as it is to see, makes you a better person just for knowing such things really do exist.

a little of both. and it's all def made me a better person. although some of the worst i've seen has so saddened me

Both. Well, experience is worth something, but so is innocence. It's not better or worse, just growing up.
