This site will never be fair, Vegas. It's just for fun and to vent. I'm almost more embarrassed about the hooplah the group that got suspended made after they got suspended than the fact that they got suspended. They could have just opened another account. Those were all middle-aged adults, or close to it -- surely they didn't care about the points or leader status they lost. It wasn't any marketing ploy. It was the immature opposing group just ganging up and using Yahoo's failed system to their advantage.
I can't imagine that many people would want to target you. You're posts are always considerate and well thought-out.

To answer your question, it sounds like you got ganged up on by the group that came over to create mayhem.
Seems they just wanted to come over and start reporting people. My advice just ignore them next time, or treat them like spam.
