Hey everyone. I was playing an online game when a blue screen popped up saying "If this is the first time you saw trhis message, restart your computer..." It said at the bottom something aobout physical memory. I turned my computer off by holding the botton, and then turned it back on then by itself, it turned off, then turned back on, then off again, until I had to unplug it from the wall. How can I fix this problem, because I was playing the game again and it happened again.

Thank you.

I've been playing this game for a while now, and I've never had this problem.

The horrible blue screen of death.
Yes sometimes you need to reformat your PC - others not.
I had the blue screen 3 days ago. If you haven't already back up all your files NOW - in case you get it again and next time you may not be so lucky. A year ago I had the blue screen and that was it, my computer would not even turn on again. That's when it gets to reformat stage and reinstall everything..... I never play games on my PC so it could be or not be your game you was playing. Most common is very low memory.. and games do take alot.

Look, back up your important files just in case you are not so lucky next time. I'm doing that as I type this .. have 1000's of family photos on here I don't want to loose.

Hopefully a computer tech guru can explain in more detail on why this happens.

ohh ohhh... its the infamous blue screen of death... you have to format your computer......meaning u have to re install the operating system a.k.a. windows xp

hmmmm but reading your question again... this happened to me also... i was playing battlefield on my pc, and the blue screen came up... and it said something about an infinite loop... it turned out my pc did not met the minimun requirements for this game.... check that your computer has the minimun requirements for the game that you are playing... if it doesnt... get a better pc, or dont play that game anymore
