Are you aiming the antenna correctly?

Basically Sirius wants the antenna aimed at Kansas (the actual pointing guide is in owners manual of the device and can be found online)..the antennas for sirius actually orbit in a weird pattern and that's why they recommend aiming it toward the center of the nation

XM must have a south facing view of the sky.. if it doesn't it won't work too well if at all.

But I found outside antennas online for Sirius in a minute on google

i flow with sirius because of the fact i admire the communicate radio programming. almost each little thing sirius has is stay and not broadcasted from terrestrial radio contained in direction of the satellite tv for pc. the music channels are exceedingly stable, yet i hear that XM has greater. cant remark on XM high quality, yet they are going to merge quickly so i might merely wait.

I downloaded a KMZ file for Google Earth with the positions of XM repeaters. Try searching for a map with the postions of the Sirius repeaters.

have you tried installing the antenna on your house somewhere? like outside on the roof with a clear view of the sky? trees, clouds, smog, and other visual impairments also affect the satellite reception. look at tss-radio.com to see if they have a booster or something to help you a bit more.
