The best way for you to get a job is(1) be neat when you apply (2) make sure you leave no open blanks on your application when it asked you what salary you expect put open (3) shake his or her hand before you sit down introduce your self(4) try to stay focused on the employer during your interview eye contact is very important try not to be so nervous and don't be afraid to discus whats on your mind as job related again after your interview shake there hand and thank them for there time

I had the exact same problem. You are gonna have it so hard. Fast food places are cool and everything but they're not for everyone, try a super-market that doesn't sell alcohol. You could be a cashier, a stocker, a floor associate, You don't have enough info for a resume at this point so don't try anywhere that sells clothes they wont hire you. Other than that do what the other people say and try a job at a fast food restruant or one that doesn't serve alcohol. By the way if you do work in a restruant, don't become a dishwasher its hell. best job you can get is at a telemarketing call centre.. they usually look little little to no experience on your resume and they provide you everything that you need to get ready to work there. it is a crappy job but the pay is exceptionally good ranging from $10 to $15+ this type of job is good for a little while and then after you can find another job while still working at the call centre. as soon as you apply to the call centre they will most likely call you the same day or the next day
also mcdonalds is a good option because they are always HIRING!! everywhere lol.. dont worry about not getting a call the same day.. within a week you should get a call.. that is mainly the first job for a lot of people..
make sure that you have a resume, references and a happy attitude to make you get this job

The mall is a great place to go where you can fill out lots of applications at once. Fast food restaurants are good too. One piece of advice I have is to dress nice..even when you are just going to fill out apps and ask if someone is hiring. Your manner of dress will set you apart from everyone else who is dragging in there in jeans and t shirts. You don't have to wear a skirt but dress slacks or khakis and a nice shirt would be a good idea.

The fast food places (Wendy's, Taco Hell, and the Irish Place) are always hiring.
Also try Kelly or QTemp for industrial work.
Best of all would be to start your own company -- lawn care, baby-sitting, computer programming or dealing drugs -- because then the profit would be all yours.

Fill out as many applications as you can. Go to every fast-food and retail establishment and ask if they're hiring. This time of year, you're sure to find something...if you're "desperate" enough.

i got one off or www.snagajob.com it took 3 days but i got one just go to the site and look around fill out everything and give it around 4 days tops and you should hear something but just in case also go to www.job.com and try i hope it works for you if not just email me and all give you more web sites
