k, im 14. and still no period. like I have all signs of puberty, i mean, I have bo0bs. my mom says that ill get it soon cause im starting to get an hourglass figure or w/e so ya help

o and I do dance, if u count that as athletic. im not super skinny or skinny, just normal bodytype

If you have all of the signs then it should not be long until you start your periods. Don't worry when you first start if your periods are irregular.

Enjoy the time you have left before you get it. I promise it is not as glamors as you want it to be. You will hate it more then you can imagine it is a big inconvenience and it can be painful and messy and it is unrelenting. You will look forward to the day it stops. I promise also it is coming chill out and enjoy what little time you have left until the curse is on you lol.

As long as you get your period by the age of 16, you're fine. If you turn 16 and still no period then I would go to the gyn. But honestly, you're fine. 14 is still young, give yourself some time.

At what time did mom get hers? It could be hereditary. I would ask your doctor next time you have a physical, but no rush. Believe me, once you realize how unconfortable it gets, you will want to "return" it! hahaha..
