How did Tennessee end up in the SEC Championship game when Georgia had a better record?

Hello....it's called the SEC Championship game. The winner of the west division played the winner of the east division. Tennessee beat Georgia in the regular season and that's why Tennessee is the eastern division winner.

Tennessee was in the Championship because they got the tiebreaker...They beat Georgia head to head...Its the conference record, not the overall record that determines the conference champ...
