If you are asking about President Abraham Lincoln, the 16th President of the United States of America, he was white. He was most noted however for his support for the abolishment of slavery and his famous Gettysburg Address where he proclaimed that Four score and seven years ago, our forefathers brought forth to this continent a new nation ...
Our country has come a long way. Under the original constitution of the United States, a black man only counted as 3/5 of a man. Abraham Lincoln proclaimed that all men were created equal.

Barack Obama is considered the first African American President of the United States.
Not much is known about Nancy Hanks, Abraham Lincoln's mother, but some historians believe that she could have been of Melungeon ancestry. Americans who now call themselves Melungeon descend from a mixed European, sub-Saharan African, and possibly American Indian ancestry. However, an electorate composed of free-white males would have never elected a noticeably black man as President in the 1860s.
Some historians also believe that Warren G. Harding, who was President immediately after World War I, was also of African-American ancestry..

Different races exist and you cannot change that. Prejudice and racism should not be defined as the same thing. How the heck must we communicate? I have read a few books and articles that claim himself and other past Presidents to have a little extra tan in the blood. However, the doings and declarations of these Presidents did not differ from others. So...race? What the significance?

Are you seriously asking the race of one of the most famous presidents of the United States? I can't believe that not every person educated enough to write wouldn't know that he was not black. But I guess that doesn't include you. Learn to write.

True. The Founding Fathers were hypocrites. But remember that people judge others on what they see, and if they see a racist American then they believe that all Americans are racists.

You mean Lincoln? Yes, he was white.
As far as I know, every US President has been white and male. Most have been Protestant, though JFK was a Catholic.
