so i cant ask him, but what is a good snow board for, doing tricks, speed, (economically priced), boots, and that thing they put the boots in to attach it to the board. is there one that comes with all of that? whats up with flexability? is very flexable good or bad? whats the difference with all the models? someone please help! ps. he is no pro but he is good.

well you would be looking for a board that is between mountain and park. a good start would be a K2 darkstar board its priced under $400 bucks which isnt bad. there are deals that come with a combo but mostly they just give you the bare essentials. however, its gonna be hard for you to choose the right board for him because he is ultimately the one that needs to choose it because boot size and height/weight of the person. flexability is how much the board gives when riding and depends on how the person likes his board set up. different models have different riding, one might be for park/tricks while other are just for free ride.

I would go with a burton board with flow bindings
