Have you tried the football section?
I know he can walk with the aid of a walker, but that is the last I heard.

First, you might want to ask this question in the football section, hockey players may not follow him or his recovery.
I don't watch football, but I am from Buffalo, so we get Everett updates on the news sometimes. Last I heard was when he made the video for all his Buffalo fans/supporters. He was standing up on his own, and thanked everyone for their well wishes. He can stand up on his own, and is walking short distances on his own. He is at home in Texas, still getting much physical therapy, but is recovering and making tremendous strides!

Kevin Everett is making a recovery, and he will not be paralyzed for life :) In september he showed significant movement in his arms, and in october, he began to walk (to an extent) he still is recovering, and building up strenght in his legs. He is listed on injured reserve and will be out for the season no matter what.

Well, that's good for him that he played football. But you're in the Hockey section, home to fans of a real man's game (and woman's).

Hockey. But he is progressing and sent an inspirational message to his teammates prior to last game- not that it helped.
