I always give thumbs up to other people that answer the same as me on a question, or if their answer makes me laugh. Does giving thumbs up give them any points? Who else gives thumbs up?

I do always, after I answer a question, I always read the others and give thumbs up to the answers I like or ones that made me laugh.

I give thumbs up to anyone who answers correctly or writes an answer I like. I give thumbs down to rude people, or people who don't answer the question properly.
