It really depends what you're wearing but I'd suggest flats as it's afternoon.
Plus the weather at the moment is so bad heels would be dangerous.

If the party is going to involve dancing or other activities involving a lot of moving around, stick with flats. Your feet will kill you if you wear heels to a wild party. If it is more of a calm party, wear heels!

It depends on what kind of party it is. If it's wild and dancing, wear flats. if it's calm, wear flats. (if you choose to wear heels, wear comfortable shoes then change into heels when you get there)

I think the important consideration here is 'has it been raining?' If the lawn is damp, you will sure as anything sink into the ground wearing heels. This can be really awkward, not to mention dangerous! A gorgeous pair of strappy flat sandals in a metallic shade will suit everything in a summer wardrobe.

wear heels, they will always look better! take with you your flat one just incase you high heels hurt you, you will be able to swap them around.

Heels, but not too high, low or mid-heel shoes are fine with jeans, skirt or dress.
