The majority of child abuse, sex abuse, and child murder/cruelty is commited by women, why do the adverts always portray men as the offenders when that contradicts the statistics?

Gothbabe- i can totally asure you that more than ten women are guilty of murdering or abusing children in your/my country. I cannot believe that you really think that. You must be so naive- or maybe you don't really care, just as long as you get to promote feminism at the expense of innocent children.

Because they are usually feminists and are not interested in helping children but helping women to be portrayed as nurturers and men as evil.

If only they really cared.

For a long time many there was a general view in society that women and girls are/where "sugar and spice, and all things nice" and this isn't true, while men are more likely to be violent, it doesn't change that fact that women can be too. For instance when it comes to school it has only fairly recently been accepted that girls bully each other and for a long time it was thought that because the bullying that went on between females was mostly verbal and harder to recognize that it didn't existence. Anyway, my point is society often denies or sweeps under the rug the issue of aggression in females.

I haven't seen the adverts you are talking about but I wouldn't be surprised if many acts of physical violence where being committed by women, and your right, it should be as out in the open as it is with men.

Women commit the majority of abuse to younger children, under five. Men do their share of cruelty to children, the majority of who are older.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if the world could present cruelty to children in statistically acurate adverts. Gee, that'd be just lovely.

The majority of abuse against children are carried out by men who are not their biological fathers. Look at the recent case of the poor little girl found in a plastic container that was dumped in Galveston Bay. She was killed by her stepfather for not saying "please" and having good manners. What's worse is that the mother, who should have tried to protect her, covered up for him and is still making excuses for him. I hope they end up in prison for a long, long time.

Usually because the idea is that a male who beats on women will also beat on a child.

And yes males beat on children almost as much as women sadly i dont think it's as widely reported as women how beat and murder children.

It really is not fair that they tend to portray men as the ONLY sex offenders out there. Lately I do see more attention on women being offenders. We tend to not see men in any care giving positions, plenty of men are though. Another social stereotype in my opinion.

I dunno but I am getting pis*ed off at these adverts, here in the UK I would never hurt an animal, abuse a kid, beat up a women. But whenever I turn on the TV this is all I can see. I'm sure it goes on but the majority of the population does NOT do these things.

I would like to see your statistic. It differs from the one I'm looking at.

Thousands of women die each year from abuse from men.

Also, here in America there are over a hundred thousand men who have raped and molested children in jail right now, and less than ten women.
