Yes I would. Even if its a stupid gimmick, I would be getting paid a lot. And besides, who wouldn't want to work in the WWE?

As I believe Mick Foley put in one of his 80 autobiographies (I know it's just 3), the same fan that hates Vince would be the same guy who would mark out to cut Mr. McMahon's lawn.
Also along those lines upon reading Wrestlecrap, look at the case of John Tenta's foreward, where he states if he hadn't played the Shark in WCW, someone else would've done it, and gotten paid for it and he wouldn't have.
So what do these two have in common? They say you have to do what the booker tells you or you're out of a job and most wrestlers are marks at heart, so you think they're going to deny a job in WWE just because of a average gimmick? With the right effort, they can make that character work.
And the example you used, look at Eugene where is he now? Unemployed? Not in your lifetime, he's head trainer in OVW, hired by a subsidiary of the same company that fired him for drugs.

Even if the gimmick was Bullsh!t i will take it..Eugene has beaten Triple H,he teamed with Benoit,he became Tag Team Champion and he has an opportunity for the WHC against Benoit...so why not?? :P
I will get paid a lot and also i will become famous,so i would go in other promotions after that and keeps going...

I think not...
...But then again, I would be coming from OVW, a developmental territory where wrestlers work on their gimmicks, wrestling ability, and mic skills. I wouldn't mind doing it for a while in OVW, but I wouldn't do it in mainstream WWE "brands" like SmackDown and RAW.

For the sake of the fans, YES! But that's OVW. If I was in the WWE I'd do it. So NO.
In fairness to Eugene, he managed to show some great execution of mat skills on some of his moves in 2005. Other than that, he's just retarded.

I'd love to copy other's moves. Much as I don't like Eugene personally, it'd be nice to work in the WWE. It'd be better than acting like Cena but worse than acting like the Rock.
