Im talking about scientist of all profesions. They tell use how the earth was made, how old dinosaur bones are, how far the earth is from other planets, and all sort of others...
How do you know there not just giving us answers, can they be trusted.
Why should we beleive them when they cant even tell us why all these ships and aircraft disapear over the burmada triangle, something we know that is a fact?
Also they cant tell me how many trees are on this earth, something thats now and present, why should we beleive all these other things they tell us?

You can tell me, its easier to count the miles to space, than to count the trees...you can walk from tree to tree, you cant walk and measure from earth to mars

I dont think that we are supposed to believe everything the scientist say thats why most of the answers they give are called "Theories" because they are not actual Facts but what they believed happened to the dinosaurs and how the earth was created, etc.

Somethings cannot be explained, however, it is explained often that the reasons for the ships and aircraft disappearances in the Bermuda Triangle is probably contributed to Methane Gas Hydrates. There is no undoubted explanation, because it would be to risky to get too close. As for the number of trees, it would be impossible to count, as trees are being cut everyday and new tree-ling are growing. No scientist has the time to evaluate such a large subject. It is not like birth of human beings where these numbers are documented immediately after birth or death.

To tell us how the earth was made, by a scientific theory is totally different from a Christian Belief. That is a question left unanswered. But for the age of dinosaur bone, carbon dating is used, and they are only able to give an educated estimate. To determine the distance between planets is part of the astronomy program that has been in existence for a very long time, satellites, and shuttles have assisted in this, and have made it determinable hands on.

Nothing can be proven. Only disproven using the scientific method.

That's what scientists use. The scientific method.

If you want answers, look for them yourself. How do you think scientists got into the business of science?

Real scientific discovery can be backed up by experimentation and results. When hypotheses are falsified the science no longer holds up, when it is not falsified, the science holds up and is tested again. Scientists developed the theory of gravity. Are you telling me they can't back it up?

-More people survive cancer than ever before due to scientific advancements in cancer treatment. AIDS is no longer a quick death sentence due to scientific advancements in medicines. Polio didn't always have a cure. It took time. And so will cures for cancer and AIDS. People are working on it, you know.

- The number of miles to Mars doesn't change, not by much anyhow. The number of trees on Earth changes every second. You can measure the distance to Mars easily using telescopes and other physical data. Can you walk from tree to tree in the rainforest and not count the same tree twice? And even if you could, the number changes so often, nothing about your data would ever be accurate.

Your profile is indeed accurate, you are full of BS.

"they cant even tell us why all these ships and aircraft disapear over the burmada triangle"

they can it has something to do with that section having particularly bad weather because of the way the currents/waves go in that area. we learned about it in school but i don't remember all the details, but there is a logical scientific reason. i'm sure its googleable. conspiracy theorists just want you to believe otherwise. also, the reason there are little signs of shipwrecks/plane crashed there is because that part of the ocean is so incredibly deep they would just sink, leaving no trace for us to find them.

and until we can prove scientists otherwise, then i don't have any reason to not believe them. innocent until proven guilty. (assuming there is hard evidence/logic behind them) and as far as how many trees there are, thats like asking "how many people are there"? when we can never know because people/trees are always dying and new ones just being born at the same time. and, what definition of "tree" would they go by? would it include trees that are dying, baby baby trees that maybe aren't trees yet. what about bush/trees? would they count? so there is no answer.
also, in a way doctors can be considered scientists in that they are always coming up with new discoveries and new methods ect. but we don't question that they don't know what they're doing when they're about to perform open heart surgery. (for the most part, lol) sometimes we just gotta trust people.

*note* i dont trust all scientists or doctors, some are a load of bull, some are the real thing

People can give you a good estimate of the number of trees, all you need to know is the approximate area covered and the number of trees per unit area on average. Why don't you just do it. you may find it is difficult to come up with the numbers you want after all (what kind of trees, how big is the average tree and how far apart are they etc etc).

Maybe you can ask the government for the money to do this counting of trees you want, since it is such an easy task and certainly appears important enough for you to think we should already know this.

We people (all of us, not just scientists) can't even get an accurate number of people on earth, and one would think that would be pretty easy to do too, certainly easier than counting trees. Go figger.

Well, I believe the facts on most of these situations are there and easily checked by even the most uneducated person if they so desire and have the willingness, determination and time to kill. I don't just blindly believe anything I'm told. I have a very skeptical mind, but I also have a willingness to filter the good from the garbage. As for the tree thing, how could anyone possible know that? We don't have tree counters in the middle of the Panamanian jungle, or the wilds of Newfoundland... You'd have to present a better argument for non-belief if this is your only criteria to dismiss most scientific facts.

Speed, I can tell you this. I am very must a creationist( I believe in the Adam and Eve story). My husband is an evolutionist...he's a scientist by trade. There reason why they can confirm the miles from planet to planet,is because it is consistent...it stays the same. Trees are cut down by the second, so its hard to calculate how many trees there are..especially when sometimes 2 are planted when 1 is cut down. Its kinda like the question your wife asked "Is there a Life, for every Death"...Scientists have unbelievable ways to make us believe, but i know what you are saying..how do we know they are telling the truth? Well for starters, I know they are a lot smarter than me....I didnt even know what a black hole really was until my husband explained it to me. How can we trust anything? We really just have to believe and trust it

Yeah, at one time they said the earth was flat, and if you sailed too far you would fall off. Scientist with the information they have at the time provide theories at to what is most likely happened, or why is happening. Something more like an educated guess. Allot aren't out to trick us, some are, for money, having a new sensational theory published is big money. At the end of the day, you will have to be the judge of what you want to believe.

truly you can not believe everything you hear and it is always best to try and find out the fact for yourself i believe some of them look in the BIBLE for most on the answers they get about how the earth was created but then as always we all interpret things and we take things in different from each other so everyone always has their own opinion so no you can not believe everything they are saying they are only human and we all make mistakes we do not know it all if we had the answers to everything no one would be sick and dying so we know that their is a HIGHER BEING then ourselves who gives us ideas and plans on how to make the great things we make and for some of the older people to live way pass 90 years of age we have GOD to thank for all this and more so if something is not sitting right with you then look in to the facts for yourself you just may find something they were over looking and could give them some advice GOD BLESS

True Scientists prove theory's with evidence and experimentation, and deduction based upon facts. They can tell us how the Earth was made, but not WHO made the earth. Your other questions are based upon proven methods of carbon dating. Nothing just "disappears" within the Bermuda triangle, it makes good television, but all have been explained. Who is going to count all the tree's???? Have agreat weekend.
