Hannah Montana the show is popular because she appeals to pre-teen girls, she is easy to relate and just a girl and a pop star. Lots of little girls dream of becoming rich and famous and living a fabulous life. Miley Cyrus is popular simply because shes sweet and innocent and parents have no reason to dislike her because no one ever hears anything bad about her.

mostly because of her dad, but many little girls look up to her and see her as a positive role modle. She's a big hit with the parentals, too.
