Im a registered Independent from NYC. I voted for Bush in 2000, Kerry in 2004.

I dislike Bush and Republicans. As a Nyer I voted for Rudy Guilanni as Mayor, liked him, even met him in 1999 and he was very nice to me, like a family member. I feel hes a hard worker and admire him. I like him the best out of all the candidates but how can I vote for a Republican who supports Bush?

On the other hand Hillary Clinton has done nothing for NYC, I met her once here and she was rude to me, would not talk to anyone. I feel she is fake and phoney and not to be trusted...
But she is not a Bush supporter..

What am i supposed to do and who do i vote for?

No. The election might want to happen as scheduled. The vice presidential applicants might want to probable flow as a lot because the presidential candidacy and they could %. someone to be their operating mate. The timing of the Election is lower than the administration of the Congress, and how this is finished is managed by ability of the States. If the president tried to call off the elections there might want to be riots contained in the streets.

Don't vote for either Hillary or Giuliani-Rudy left NY in a huge financial mess.

It's really your choice, but I think Ron Paul is really great. Do some research. Register Republican and hope he'llbe the candidate in the primaries. You can still change your mind in the final election!

RON PAUL 2008

Neither of them will be the party candidates by next spring, so you can look at someone else. Guiliani is rapidly fading, and his recent debacle with mispending $ in NYC to hide his affair (charging security to the disability program fund!) will knock him out of contention. That conduct may be ok in NYC and the northeast, but the rest of the country won't accept that. Hillary is already shown, again recently, that she is not electable against the top 5 republican candidates, so she too will soon lose her coveted news media hype.

Rudy VS. Hillary...really? Do we really want another charade for a national election. First of all, Rudy's not a conservative, not a problem, unless your running as a conservative. I was reading an article in which Rudy claimed our foreign policy problems lie in the 'marketing' of freedom. True freedom does not require a marketing campaign, it is an individual's existence without bondage. Hillary would be more of the same, different name. If you understand what an increasingly difficult situation the US is in financially, you will vote for the person who is dedicated and ACTUALLY capable of balancing the budget without raising your taxes. RON PAUL 08' ALL THE WAY.

Presumably you dislike the Republicans in charge because of their support of Bush and his handling of war in Iraq. If so, I'd give serious consideration to Ron Paul as a man who would get us out of Iraq and would require a full Declaration of War from Congress for us to get involved in any future armed conflicts.

I'd agree with you as regards Clinton's "fakeness" so if you're inclined to vote Democrat because of more left-wing political views, go with Obama instead. At least he appears to be stating beliefs he holds rather than the advantageous position of the latest poll of likely Dem voters.

In the end, I suggest you visit non-partisan Project VoteSmart and support the person most in line with your beliefs in the primary (I'm assuming you can only vote in 1 primary so you need to choose the man or woman who comes closest and vote in that person's party's primary to try and have them around for a general election selection).

Lady; You made an excellent choice in 2000, a poor one in 2004. If you have read Senator Kerry's voting record in the senate it is strictly party line stuff like Ted Kennedy, the Chappaquiddock dipper, So you messed up there. And if Guiliani treated you so well, what is the problem? It appears that for your age you are quite immature in the way you vascilate" yes I like him,"" But because he supported I hate him". This is not a mature independent woman talking.

You're supposed to think for YOURSELF and vote for the candidate YOU believe is best qualified. You can't possibly agree with another human being on everything. Do you really need somebody to tell you who to vote for?

It is imperative that we get the republicans out of the White House.

Every American, who truely loves this nation and our constitution has to vote for a Democrat...at least this next election.

You have a year to decide, and you probably ought to wait to see who gets the nomination. But decide what is a deal breaker issue for you and choose the person who feels the way on that issue that you need them to.

Research the candidates and vote for whoever you feel is most qualified and will do the best job.
