Glenn Beck is mentioning that America is in a Crisis. Foreign countries are buying our assets cheap. Jobs will be harder to find, Baby boomers are close to retirement and planning on relying on Social security & medicare, the dollar greatly losing value, consumer products will be much more expensive in like 4 years.
Think about the graduates from high school and college who are just starting life and they are gonna have a rough start.

How will people(including me) be able to enjoy life in America next decade?

Stop spending more money than we earn, thats how!
Stop going into debt.
Stop buying things we don't need.
This goes as much for the American government as the American people. Both have a horrible debt problem.
The US government needs to stop borrowing money from the Chinese to finance its imperialistic wars.
The US government is largely to blame for the economic crisis, but its also the people's fault for spending too much money on useless junk and fancy cars and going into debt.

We are headed into a period of economic slow down which happens frequently and people who are entering the work force at such times always bear most of the burden. Probably 1/4 of the adults in the US graduated from school at such times but they eventually got jobs and got on with their lives. I think calling it a crisis is greatly overstating the problem but no one would listen if he told you it was the same old stuff happening again. If you are really worried look back in history, and you will find that the relatively problem free 90's was the exception not the rule.

A 3% economic growth is not a crisis for a country with a per capita income of $44,000. That is an insult to all the poor people in under-developed countries of the world. A lot of them wish they even had 3/10th of our wealth. So we should stop whining so much!

I know what you mean.
This country is too reliant on the wrong sources.

People have to learn how to conserve money.
Learn that there are lots of things in life that money cannot buy.

Find the free things about life.

Baby boomers shouldn't rely 100% on Social Security.
Work PT and Social security can support partial income.
Or they should have a 2nd investment to support them during retirement.

People need to learn how to save money and not buy extra expenses that are unnecessary.

You got my support, Brak. You got my support. I'm a good money saver myself.
