Side click on it, if "Lock the Taskbar" has a check beside it, press that, then drag it down to the bottom of the screen, then side click and press Lock the Taskbar again.

Hi,
If you click on a gray spot in the task bar and drag it to the bottom of the screen it will dock back on the bottom like you want it to be.
You can prevent this from happening again by right clicking on a gray spot and choosing "Lock the Taskbar."
Cheers!

My guess is this was an innocent mistake and the taskbar wasn't locked. If you right click on an empty area of the taskbar you can see if it is locked.
To move the taskbar, unlock it, and holding down your left mouse button drag the taskbar to your new location. Once done, right-click and lock it so someone can't move it back.

Right-click on the taskbar and unlock it. Then try and move the bar to the bottom and then lock it in place.

Drag it and drop it where you want it. It's that simple! Might have to unlock it first.
